[Regarding GPL]
We recieve comments accusing us being refused to release the modified source code of DOSBox. While we have evidence that one of them did contacted us, we have no record others did. We granted all people the right to disclose our complete conversation regarding their GPL enquiries so we suggest those people either support their words with evidence or remove those empty comment. And please don't frame our users and remove "(or actually poster)" wordings from the comments, none of them are related to the developer.

The modified source code is not ready to be released, this is a fact, but very few serious developers can actually fulfill that within 5 days of binary release. Usually it is acceptable to release modified source code within 90 days, and we're only asking for 30, yet we're being accused within 24 hrs of the conversation.

For those who concerned, we already talk to DOSBox Team and it's claimed that the case is reported to Google, up to this moment we did not received objection from these 2 parties.

[Update 13th April, 2011, 12:44PM]
We had obtained official permission from DOSBox Team (copyright holder) to delay releasing source code till 26th April, 2011.

[Developer's Word]
It's really silly to think the developer trying to steal other's work for their own benefit. How many Android user care about buying a DOS app? How many man-hours are needed to built a DOSBox port with such quality? Do little math and anybody will know this project is measured by contribution rather than profit from the very beginning. Rules are rules and we will play by rules, but why the communities didn't tried to release the burden of developer by utilizing their expertise to help but doing the opposite? An hour handling licensing issues is an hour less for development, at the end who's benefit and who's lost?
